When someone dies in Sami Kefalonia, notaries, lawyers, politicians, and talented fraudsters (maybe with a name like Vera and from Bulgaria) get gathered together for their favorite hobby- fraud, the cutting of the dead. 

The life's work of the dead is cut and given to each of the participants. And the dead person’s last will and testament means nothing.

The fraud and thievery is done with artistry, with impunity, with convincing lies, and immunity because this isn't a country of legal rights. This is Greece, where all things are made difficult, and your rights are at the border.
